Hi Everyone!
Happy Mother’s day! Some weekend pictures and random photos.
The weather has been crazy — last weekend was warm enough to turn on the fountains in central park…But today it is 45 degrees .. (all the pictures of Miles with his green hat are from today)!!
Miles also had his first haircut a few weeks ago. He got to sit in a red race car and watch Elmo!
Also the ninja shirts and the helicopter shirt are my creations!! I’ve been having fun with iron-on patches….
Enjoy!
Love
Liz, Brett and Miles

We just returned last week from a mini vacation!
For the first half of the week, we went to Candlewood Isle, in New Fairfield, CT. We shared Alyson’s parents’ lake cottage with Matt, Aly and Lucia (thanks Sandy and Bob!).
Miles and Lucia got to hang out, and when the babies went to bed, the cooking competition began! Potenzas won by a substantial margin, but the Kiefers did well in the appetizer (thank you Lauren!) and the pasta competition. Brett’s salt bake chicken was also quite the presentation.
Then Brett and Liz flew to Mexico for a wedding, while Miles and Grandpa John had a bachelor weekend. Miles and Grandpa did great, and we relaxed in Cabo…!
Hi Everyone,
Just finishing up a month of inpatient medicine, and now finally have time to upload 100 or so pictures of Miles!
Highlights include: a visit to the farm with Ellie Merrill (and Lenny the Pug), broccoli carnage, a trip to the Children’s Museum (conveniently located 10 blocks from us), a visit with Lucy Potenza and some every day shots…
Enjoy!
It’s been a busy winter so far.
Finally got around to the Christmas and New Year’s Eve pictures. We had a great time in Connecticut with a white Christmas and lots of family….Miles wore his Christmas suit (thank you Grandma Ruth) and received many lovely gifts. Thank you all!
And we had superb, meat-centric NYE with Lauren, Ivan, and Miles’s friends Charlie Hall and Lucy Potenza…
All the best in 2010!
Miles was standing at the windowsill all morning looking at the snow, but it wasn’t until noon before we ventured out!
We bundled him like a marshmallow and, to my own horror, even applied vasaline to his cheeks (we were out on Saturday during the day and his cheeks were bright red with windburn).
Brett and I plopped him on his feet in a fresh patch of snow and he stood there, frozen for a few seconds … then a few seconds more …. immobilized by doubt (or all his layers). He never quite figured out you could walk around in that stuff, but we had a great time anyway!
We have had a busy fall…
Leaf piles in Central Park, a music class birthday party for Miles’s friend Charlie, early breakfasts at City Diner, and Thanksgiving in Rhode Island (thank you Grandpa John!).
Lots of pictures here — enjoy!
Our only hope is that we can hide the key….our DVDs are no longer safe!

Happy Birthday Miles!
We had a lovely first birthday party on Saturday. Miles did really well with all the guests. His friends Charlie, Rocket, and Ellie were present, as well as a bunch of our friends. I made a cake based on one of his favorite books (Moo, Baa, La La La, by Sandra Boynton)!
Here are some pictures of Miles in the park for fall weather, meeting his future girlfriend Lucia, and the party … and below the pictures, the cake moment on video!
