….it’s been a mostly indoor April so far!
Miles asked his first real “why” question today as in “Why is the Easter Bunny going to bring me presents?”
To which we responded…”It’s a celebration of spring! And only if you’ve been a good boy!”

He’s kickin’ …. !
And he’s getting all of Miles’s old clothes … it’s a boy!
Thank you for the great new lens, Mom! As you can see, I’ve been using it all of the time. We took all of these killer photos of Lauren, the Potenzas, and Katie, Scott, and Elias! Also, Miles and I have been flying the helicopter a lot (wearing safety glasses, of course).
Here are some shots from Grandpa John, documenting his adventures with Miles at the American Museum of Natural History, at Rudin Playground in Central Park (and all over the Upper West Side of NYC), and with his friends, Laila and Anais and Isabella and Sabrina….
Oh, and Miles likes to sit in the Cadillac at Columbus Circle Mall!
Hi Everyone,
Here are some random pictures from our new camera…pardon the experimentation with light and fuzziness as we tried to capture our daily lives!
The ultrasounds are our first peek at baby #2 (don’t know the sex yet, but will find out in 2 weeks!)….
Also sprinkled in this post are Miles’s computer lessons, Miles makes a pizza, and Miles gets his cardboard box upgraded!
Enjoy!
Look what we returned to!
It was a winter wonderland in Central Park, and unlike last year, Miles LOVED sledding…especially the part where “Daddy pull you up the hill”.
Actually, once he got his mittens around the sled string, he did a good job of hauling himself up the bunny hill. We also couldn’t resist piling Lucy and Miles together into his sled…
More pics from the end of our trip:
It was a rainy cloudy day after Christmas so we headed to the zoo!
Miles got to see:
1) first real live elephants (he said “Wow, they are big!”)
2) aggressive chimps (“he kicked the wall and then ran up the hill”)
3) hippos (“they splashed you”)
4) alligators (“like the museum”)
5) and ostriches (which he recognized from one of his favorite books, Curious George Rides a Bike, in which George feeds a bugle to an ostrich: Miles said “you don’t want to feed him a bugle”)
6) rhinos
7) giraffes
8) lions and tigers (“they are roaring”)
More photos with the new camera…
Here are shots of our Hawaiian family Christmas….
These were taken with the new camera Santa brought us!
Brett got a cool toy from Grand Mimi: a toy helicopter (Miles was equally enthralled!)
